A SPECIAL WELCOME TO..
The parents, godparents, family and friends of Emilia Hole who is being baptised at the Family Service this morning.

CHOIR
Harvest choir practises will be held in the small hall at 9.45am on Sundays 5th, 12th and 19th. We look forward to being joined by our singers from the congregation. Anne Haslam

TEAR FUND
Tearfund contributions for August were a splendid £172.90. As we have seen on our televisions there is a desperate need in both Pakistan and China. Tearfund’s work continues in other deprived parts of the world. Thank you very much for your generous support which is so valuable. Anne Haslam

DRF’S INSTITUTION AS TEAM RECTOR OF RYE
The coach to Rye for David’s Institution on Tuesday 7th September will leave St Stephen’s Church at 5.45pm. On arrival at Rye the coach will park at Rye Station and there will be a steep walk to St Mary’s church. The cost will be £5.50 inclusive of tip and coach parking fee. Please Pay Nigel Ellis.

HARVEST FISH AND CHIP SUPPER
Our Harvest Fish and Chip Supper will be held on Saturday 25th September in the large hall at 7.00pm. If you are able to come please sign the list on the Display Area table

BRING AND SHARE LUNCH
Next Sunday there will be a Bring and Share Lunch after the 10.30am service. If you are able to come please sign the list on the Display Area table, with an indication of what you are bringing.

LEADERSHIP TEAM MORNING PRAYER
Every Tuesday morning some of the clergy, readers and wardens will meet to pray. Prayer requests can be given to Nick or any of the team.

GUILD OF FRIENDSHIP
The speaker this month is from the Guide Dogs Charity and will be accompanied by two dogs, Suzy and retired Gael. New members welcome.
